this I've been looking everywhere for a wedge boot with the small skirt like this that has a zipper on top for my thicker calves. Winner! I love them. The construction is a tad cheap compared to the price, but I had a coupon code for vincecamuto.com (20GIFT) + the free shipping there, and I got it for $127.99 TOTAL (no tax)!! So, I would order it from them instead, if you haven't already; saving that $70 made the cheaper construction less of a problem.I did get a half size bigger than normal. I had tried them on at Dillards first and had jeggings on. They fit over the jeggings nicely though I don't think they'd have if I had thick socks on, too. So, boot socks + tights or jeggings/jeans by themselves best if you have thicker calves. If not, you'll be good to go. I saw a review on nordstrom.com (also 33% off on that site + free shipping) where someone mentioned that they had a hard time getting their foot into the wedge. I concur! That's another reason I had to go a half size bigger. I just couldn't get my foot (with one of those disposable hose/sock things) in them!
